Description

Saturday morning fall rugby for kids aged 6 through 12! Running from Sept 5 through the end of October, our Minis Fall Rugby Program is a great way for new and existing players to get involved and stay engaged throughout autumn.

Minis Flag League - U8/10 (birth years 2020-2016)

  • Where?: Crusaders Rugby Club, 2214 Ninth Line, Oakville ON
  • When?: Saturdays, 9 AM - 10:30 AM
  • Non-contact, flag rugby
  • Focus on developing core rugby skills: pass/catch skills, agility, evasion, finding and using space
  • Playing intramural rugby matches to further development and game understanding
  • Great for beginners wanting to try rugby out and for developing core skills
  • Open to members and the general public
  • Cost: $50 (includes insurance)

Introduction to Contact - U12 (birth years 2015-2013)

  • Where?: Crusaders Rugby Club, 2214 Ninth Line, Oakville ON
  • When?: Saturdays, 9am-10:30am
  • Contact: This program focuses on introducing children to contact rugby and safe tackling practices
  • Focus on developing core rugby skills: pass/catch skills, agility, evasion, finding and using space
  • Great for beginners wanting to try rugby out and for developing core skills
  • Open to existing members and the general public
  • New members to the club must register for Rugby Canada insurance here valid until April 30, 2026: Registration Link (select U12 Fall Program Only) and then revisit this page to pay the program fees. Should you need assistance, please reach out to operations.manager@crusadersrugby.ca
  • Cost: $25 (excludes insurance, new members must purchase separately here: Registration Link (select U12 Fall Program Only) 

    Session dates: 

    • 7 weeks: September 6 - October 25, Saturdays 9am-10:30am
    • Note that there will be no sessions on Thanksgiving weekend (October 11)
